Family Owned Cabin Rental Getaway
Born and raised in Texas, we grew tired of the city life and bought this seven acre property. Originally a mostly blank piece of land with one house, we have made improvements like a security gate, a greenhouse and a newly built cabin to rent out
Our Vision
In retirement, we plan to continue adding on to our property. With one cabin finished and available for bookings, we hope to add one or two more and establish a garden of fruit and vegetables for guests to help themselves to. Covered by nature's canopy -oaks, hickory and pine- The Abide Cabin is an ideal place to unwind and get-away for however long you wish. Get a taste of the country life, but within reasonable distance to amenities.
The East Texas Experience
To quote the movie Bernie, East Texas "is where the South begins. Life behind the pine curtain". Our property is only fifteen minutes away from Lake Palestine, and thirty from Lake Tyler. Not to mention the numerous fishing spots and the proximity to Tyler State Park. The property is easily accessible to the hottest dining spots in Tyler. Try the Cajun inspired menu at FD's, the authentic TexMex of Javis, the elegant atmosphere of The Grove or the fine steaks of Dakota's. Also, possibly the best BBQ in the area is right down the road in Chandler..Big Rip's BBQ
